Appy Couple Update: New Features, New Designs, Even More Fun

Our tech geeks and designers have been working night and day to make the Appy Couple experience even more wonderful for couples. Lots of new features, and the whole site is more organized and convenient than ever.

It all starts with the design pages. Now, not only can you scroll through our unique themes, but you can flip through the ones that come in multiple colors simply by selecting the different color dots above them.

We’ve added some gorgeous new ones recently, so be sure to spend some time browsing for your fave.

Plus, we’ve got exciting new designs coming soon, with coordinating print invitations. Here’s a quick peek at what’s to come!

Appy Couple guides you through the process, step-by-step

Getting up and running with your app and website couldn’t be simpler. Just follow the steps!

1: Get started

All your quick setup options are right at hand. Welcome your guests, upload a profile picture, tell your stories, set up your games and toasts.

Of course, you can come back and add more details whenever you want, but this will get you going fast.

Then move on to step 2!

2: Add important details

Put in all your event information, and travel arrangements for guests. Add your wedding party, so everyone knows who the important people are when they get there.

And don’t forget your registry! We give you a wide choice, and you can connect to sign up for a new registry right from our website.

Don’t have a registry? You can add anote for your guests instead.

3. Spread the word

Upload your spreadsheet to your guest list, or add people on the fly. They’ll all be alphabetized automatically, and now you can select them in multiples and add them to events in groups.

Plus, you can send your Appy Couple Save-the-Date and app login info in batches. Choose just your family and wedding party first, then send everything out to a wider circle when you’re ready.

Each step of the way has a clear, convenient “how-to” section, in case you need it while you’re adding content.

Guest list updates: Group your guests with tags and by event for easy planning

Want all your college buddies to sit together? Want to invite just the girls to a spa day? Appy Couple’s new tagging option lets you create whatever tags you want for different groups of guests.

You can even sort your guests by tag or by an event they’re invited to. Just start typing “tag” or the name of the event in the search bar, and click on the drop-down option that appears.

This is just the beginning. Soon we’ll make an even bigger guest list update, with +1′s and family groupings—and so much more.

Personalize your Appy Couple email messages

Not only are your email messages coordinated with your Appy Couple design, but you can add your own special note to really personalize them for your guests.

It’s easy, just:

1. Select which email you want to send (Save-the-Date, Invite, or just Send a Note)
2. Type in your message where indicated
3. Select who you want to send to—by tag or all guests—and the system won’t spam your guests by sending them  the same email more than once

It’s all about control. Like our privacy options, you choose how much you want to share and when you want to share it.

More sharing and admin tools

Three admin icons on the top right of your browser screen link you to important sections.

A whole new sharing section gives you new options to let your guests know about Appy Couple.

If you want you can share your code on Facebook or Twitter, or print the information on your wedding invitations. Even more convenient—you can print out Day-of cards that contain instructions for downloading and accessing your Appy Couple app. Distribute them to guests at the reception.

With Appy Couple, you’ve got all the essential tools and information in one place. Your wedding website, your mobile app for Apple or Android devices, custom emails to keep your guests informed, and more.
